Unusual Silver English Centre Seconds Lever

An unusual late 19^th Century English lever with patent dust cover and original watchpaper in a silver open face case.  Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel.  Unusual gilt dust cover marked "Patent No. 1340 - Warranted English Lever" which is secured by a small engraved circular lock.  Once removed the movement can be swung from the case from the front.  Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with spiral hairspring.  Screwed in jewelling, English table roller lever escapement.   Signed white enamel dial with centre seconds, Roman numerals, gold hands.  Substantial plain silver open face case, maker's mark "TM" and number corresponding to that on the movement.  Gilt winding button and gold slide in the band to stop the watch.  Inside the back cover a watchpaper from the original maker.
