Unusual Gold and Enamel Verge by Earnshaw

A late 18^th Century English verge by Earnshaw in an unusual gold and enamel consular case.  Full plate fire gilt movement with fusee and chain.  Pierced and engraved masked cock, silver regulator disc.  Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring.  Winding through the white enamel dial, Arabic numerals radially set around a thin line, gold arrow hands.  Unusual consular case hinged in the gold pendant, the movement hinged at three o'clock.  The bezels set with faux split pearls with red and green translucent champleve enamel between.  The back of polychrome enamel depiction three young ladies in a garden bordered by a row of small faux split pearls surround by a band of translucent red enamel over an engine turned ground.
