An early 20th Century Swiss lever in a silver Dennison full hunter case retailed by Benson. Gilt split three quarter plate keyless seventeen jewel movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel micrometer regulator adjusted by a snail cam, uncut balance with overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement, screwed in jewelling. Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Engine turned silver English made Dennison full hunter case, garter and vacant shield shaped cartouche on the front cover. Ribbed middle, plain silver cuvette, maker's mark "ALD" in a rectangle.
