Slim Gold and Enamel Dress Watch

A fine slim Swiss lever in a gold and enamel open face dress watch.  Keyless gilt bar movement with going barrel.  Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring.  Club foot lever escapement, escape and lever pivots with endstones.  Gilt dial with Arabic numerals, blue steel hands.  Slim gold and enamel case, clip on back and bezel.  The middle decorated with a fine line of white champleve enamel.  The bezels of light blue translucent enamel over an engine turned ground.  The back also of light blue translucent enamel over an engine turned ground but additional work has been carried out to create a subtle effect of six panels of fern decoration with a small circular section in the middle bordered by a thin gold line.  Gilt tooled red morocco covered presentation case for Carrington & Co, 130 Regent Street.
