Silver Watch and Key by Benson in Case

A late 19^th Century cylinder by Benson in a silver open face case with key and signed presentation case.  Gilt three quarter plate keywind movement with going barrel.  Plain cock with polished steel regulator, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands.  Engine turned silver open face case, maker's mark "JWB" in an oval.  Wound and set through the signed silver cuvette also engraved with a crown and Watch Maker by Warrant to the Queen.  Gilt key marked " J W Benson  - Ludgate Hill & Old Bond St London".  Blue morocco covered presentation case signed in the lid "J W Benson Ltd (of Ludgate Hill) Watchmakers Jewellers & Silversmiths - 25 Old Bond St.  London W1".
