Silver Verge with Enamelled Fishing Scene

An early 19^th Century English verge with polychrome enamel dial in silver pair cases.  Full plate fire gilt movement with fusee and chain.  Pierced and engraved masked cock, silver regulator disc.  Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Fine white enamel dial with a polychrome enamel riverside scene depicting a fisherman by an arched bridge.  Arabic numerals, gilt hands.  Matching silver pair cases, silver oval pendant and bow. The inner case engraved "Sam Taylor" and the outer a faded monogram, maker's mark "WL" below a stag.
