An early 20th Century Swiss lever by Longines in a silver trench watch. Gilt keyless bar movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, black Arabic numerals, the twelve marked in red, blue steel hands. Plain silver open face case, plain clip on silver back with Longines winged logo. Gilt winding button, fixed silver wire lugs, slender black crocodile strap
In excellent overall condition. Wearing a timepiece on the wrist first became popular in the First World War when the military adopted them.
