Description

A small early 20^th Century Swiss 8 day lever with visible escapement in a silver full hunter case.  Hebdomas keyless eight day movement with the large resting barrel covering the back of the watch marked “8 Jours Ancre – Interchangeable- Spiral Breguet Levees Visible – Swiss Made”.  Engraved bridge below the dial, polished steel regulator.  Uncut bimetallic balance with overcoil hairspring.  Club foot lever escapement.  Signed puce enamel dial, Roman numerals in blue circular cartouches, silver decoration either side of the chapter ring, gilt hands.   Decoratively engraved silver open face case.
