An early 19th Century English cylinder in a silver consular case. Full plate gilt keywind fusee movement with dust cover. Engraved cock with diamond endstone, polished steel Bosley regulator, plain three arm polished steel balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, large brass escape wheel, pivots with endstones. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, gilt hands. Attractive plain silver consular case, maker's mark “WR” and number corresponding to that on the movement.
