A very rare late 19th Century lever by Patek Philippe with 24 hour digital dial fitted in a nickle open face case. High quality keyless bar movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel micrometer regulator adjusted by a snail cam, steel pointer on the plate. Compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement, the lever with counterbalance extension arms extending beyond the pallets. Escape and lever pivots with endstones in polished steel settings. Snailed steel wolf's teeth winding work. Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds and a central minute hand. At twelve a small circular aperture for the hours marked 1 – 24 which change instantaneously. Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Fitted in a plain open face nickle case with screw bezel and back.
