Pearl Set Gold and Enamel French Verge

A late 18^th Century French verge in a pearl set gold and enamel case.  Full plate gilt fusee movement.  Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock coqueret, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring.  Silver regulator dial with blue steel indicator.  Winding though the signed white enamel dial, Roman and Arabic numerals, blue steel Breguet  hands.  18 carat gold consular case the gold and enamel bezels set with a single row of large split pearls. The back of translucent purple enamel over a decorative engine turned ground set with a lock of plaited hair under a glass set in a stone set oval frame.  Gold pendant and bow Sprung front bezel opened by a button in the band.
