A mid 20th Century Swiss watch by Jaeger LeCoultre in a nickelled open face case. Gilt split three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with steel regulator, uncut balance with spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed white dial with subsidiary seconds, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Plain nickelled open face case, the clip on back engraved "6E / 50 - A18380" and the broad ministry arrow above.
In excellent overall condition. Jaeger LeCoultre calibre 467 was produced 1939 - 1945. Issued to British military personnel they are more commonly marked G.S.T.P. (General Service Trade Pattern).
