A fine early 18th Century English calendar verge with gold champleve dial in gold pair cases. Deep full plate fire gilt movement, Egyptian pillars with pierced galleries above. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Pierced and engraved winged cock with mask, pierced and engraved foot. Plain steel balance, silver regulator disc. Signed gold champleve dial, small circular aperture below the centre to reveal the date. Roman and Arabic numerals, tulip and poker hands. Matching plain gold pair cases, inner with split pendant and circular shutter to the winding aperture, gold pendant and bow engraved with initials. Plaiin gold outer case with seven joint hinge, maker's mark “W.I” and number corresponding to that on the movement.
A large Swiss lever in a heavy silver open face case made for the American market. Full plate damascened nickle keywind fusee movement with going barrel. Plain cock marked “Fully Ruby Jewelled”. Long polished steel regulator, gold sector index. Compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement visible through an aperture in the plate, screwed in jewelling. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Substantial plain silver Keystone open face case marked “Coin”, gold hinges. Large vacant shield shaped cartouche on the back cover, wound through the silver cuvette.

High quality train, eight leaf pinions and six spoke crossings to the wheels. Pierced and engraved cock, silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. White enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, pierced gold hands. Plain 22 carat gold inner case, gold pendant and bow, maker's mark “RP”. Fine gold and enamel outer, the bezel decorated with bands of translucent dark blue enamel either side of a row of white faux pearls. This decoration repeated on the back with an additional row of faux pearls around a ground of translucent dark blue enamel. At the centre a finely painted scene of a young lady resting in the countryside, a spaniel at her side.
