An early 19th Century Swiss crab tooth duplex in a fine large gold and enamel case made for the Chinese market.  Large keywind gilt bar movement with richly engraved plate, bridges and going barrel, blue steel screws.  Engraved sector cock, garnet endstone in a blue steel setting, blue steel regulator.  Engraved suspended going barrel with blue steel stop work.   Polished steel three arm balance with three blue steel affixes, spiral hairspring.  Steel crab tooth duplex escape wheel allowing the hand to beat seconds. White enamel dial with slender Roman numerals, seconds beating centre seconds, fine delicate  blue steel hands.  Fine large gold and enamel open face case, engraved gilt sprung cuvette.  Gold bezels, oval pendant and bow decorated with turquoise, light blue and dark blue champleve enamel.  Gold back very finely decorated in polychrome enamel depicting two doves surrounded by flowers and foliage.
