A fine large mid 19^th Century English chronometer by Frodsham in a silver open face case.  Full plate gilt keywind fusee movement with screwed pillars, blue steel fusee ratchet, click and spring.  Harrison's maintaining power.  Engraved cock with diamond endstone, freesprung compensation balance with helical blue steel hairspring.  Earnshaw type spring detent chronometer  escapement, escape pivots with endstones.  Signed and numbered white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands.  Substantial large engine turned silver open face case, maker's mark "WB".
