Ladies Decorative Three Colour Gold Verge

A small late 18^th Century French verge in a three colour gold consular case and glazed protective outer.  Full plate gilt fusee movement.  Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring.  Silver regulator dial with blue steel indicator.  Wound through the signed white enamel dial, Roman and Arabic numerals, decorative pierced gold hands.  Small three colour gold consular case, the back depicting garden scene of a figure and dog within an oval surrounded by swags.  Plain gilt metal protective outer glazed on the back to protect the scene.
