A late 19^th Century Swiss lever by Vacheron and Constantin in a gold full hunter case.  Keyless nickelled bar movement with going barrel, snailed steel wolf's teeth winding work.  Plain cock with polished steel regulator.  Compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring.  Club foot lever escapement, the lever with counterbalance extension arms extending beyond the pallets.  Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, black Roman and red Arabic numerals, blue steel hands.  Engine turned 14 carat full hunter  case with vacant shield shaped cartouche on the front cover.  Ribbed middle, plain gold cuvette.
