An unusually small late 19th Century Swiss split seconds lever chronograph in a gold open face case. Nickelled three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Grained steel flyback chronograph and split seconds work visible above the plate. Plain cock with polished steel micrometer regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed white enamel dial with flyback split centre seconds chronograph, subsidiaries for thirty minute record and seconds, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Plain 18 carat open face case, gold cuvette, maker's mark “Tavannes W Co.”. Flyback chronograph button in the crown and split seconds in the band.
