A 19th Century English resilient lever in a gold full hunter case. Gilt three quarter plate keywind movement with fusee and chain. Harrison's maintaining power. Engraved cock with polished steel regulator, garnet endstone, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. English table roller lever escapement, the tail of the lever banking on a small “C” shaped blue steel spring. Screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Plain 18 carat full hunter case, double headed eagle engraved on the front cover. Wound and set through the gold dome, maker's mark “H.B” in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.
