Plain cock with diamond endstone. Heavy compensation balance with freesprung blue steel helical hairspring. Earnshaw type spring detent chronometer escapement. Screwed in jewelling, escape pivots with endstones. white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Substantial 18 carat full hunter case profusely chased and engraved overall with floral decoration, vacant shield shaped cartouche on the from cover. Wound and set through the gold cuvette which also bears decorative floral engraving, maker's mark “AS” in a rectangle.
