Gilt Pair Cased Cylinder by Earnshaw

An early 19^th Century English cylinder by Earnshaw in gilt metal pair cases.  Full plate fire gilt fusee movement.  Gilt dust cover pierced to reveal the regulator and table of the pierced and engraved masked cock, diamond endstone.  Engraved foot and plate for the silver regulator disc. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring.  Polished steel cylinder, large steel escape wheel.  Signed white enamel dial with Roman numerals, gold Breguet hands.  Matching gilt metal pair cases, round pendant and bow, maker's mark "JM" in a rectangle.
