Description

A small mid 19^th Century Swiss cylinder in an attractive diamond set gold and enamel open face case.  Keywind gilt bar movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator. Plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. White enamel dial with slender Roman numerals, blue steel Breguet hands.  Fine gold and black enamel case, diamond set bezels, gold and enamel trefoil bow.  The centre of the back set with large diamonds in a foliate pattern, a larger diamond at its centre.  Wound and set through the signed gold cuvette.  Matching gold key the enamelled hexagonal enamel top also set with small diamonds.  Fitted morocco covered case lined with purple velvet.
