Decorative Gold Quarter Repeater with Offset Dial

A fine early 19^th Century Swiss quarter repeating cylinder with offset dial in a decorative three colour gold open face case.  Keywind gilt bar movement with suspended going barrel, polished steel stopwork.  Plain cock with garnet set polished steel coqueret, blue steel regulator.  Plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel.  Push pendant quarter repeating on two polished steel rectangular section gongs. Fine gold engine turned dial with offset chapter of Roman numerals, blue steel Breguet hands.  Attractive three colour gold open face case, the bezels and back with applied gold foliate decoration.  Either side of the gold push pendant are button to open the sprung back and bezel.  Wound through the plain gold cuvette.  Matching three colour gold split ring.
