American Gold Box Hinge Hunter Pocket Watch

A late 19^th Century American lever in a decorative gold box hinged full hunter case.  Full plate gilt keyless movement, engraved cock with garnet endstone.  Compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring, polished steel regulator, club foot lever escapement. Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands.  Gold 9 carat full hunter case with box hinges, the covers decoratively engraved, vacant area on the front cover for a signature.  Plain gold cuvette, maker's mark "B.W.C.Co"
