Chased and engraved cock inscribed “Patent – Detach’d”, diamond endstone, blue steel Bosley regulator. Plain three arm polished steel balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Massey type two lever escapement. Fine and attractive gold dial, applied gold Roman numerals on a matted ground. Applied three colour gold decoration to the centre and border of the dial, blue steel hands. Engine turned 18 carat open face case, the movement hinged at 9 o’clock. Engine turned bezels, deeply chased and engraved middle, pendant and bow. Maker’s mark “TH & Co” and number corresponding to that on the movement.

Full plate gilt keywind fusee movement, the dust cover pierced to reveal the cock and polished and blue steel barrel setup ratchet and spring. Harrison’s maintaining power. Chased and engraved cock inscribed “Patent” on the table and “Detached” on the foot. Large diamond endstone, blue steel Bosley regulator. Unusual three arm balance, polished steel arms and blue steel inner rim inside a gilt outer rim, blue steel spiral hairspring. Large screwed in Liverpool window jewelling to all pivots including the fusee with the exception of the centre. Massey type two lever escapement. Lateral steel lever to stop the watch under the front bezel. Fine decorative gold dial with subsidiary seconds. Matted ground, three colour applied gold decoration to the centre and edge, applied polished gold Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Substantial decorative 18 carat gold open face case, Chester hallmarks without date letter. Chased and engraved middle, bezels, pendant and bow, crisp engine turned back with vacant circular cartouche. Maker’s mark “T.H” over “J.H” and number corresponding to that on the movement.

A 19^th Century English verge in silver half hunter pair cases. Full plate fire gilt fusee movement with round pillars. Pierced and engraved masked cock, engraved gilt plate, blue steel disc for regulation, with the index on the top plate. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Half hunter style white enamel dial with two concentric chapters of Roman numerals, only the inner chapter visible unless the front cover is opened. Gold half hunter hands. Matching silver pair cases, the inner with a broad border to the front bezel, small glazed aperture at the centre. Silver oval pendant and bow, maker’s mark “V.R” in an oval.

Faded engine turned back, ribbed middle, the inner dome engraved “James Dick – 1867”. Lateral blue steel stop lever, maker’s mark “R.O” and number corresponding to that on the movement.

Quarter repeating on two polished steel gongs operated by a pull and twist plunger in the band. Engine turned gold dial with subsidiary seconds, faded Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Engine turned 18 carat open face case, pull and twist repeat plunger in the band at three o’clock, with ribbed middle. Signed and numbered clip on gold cuvette locked by a screw (now lacking), maker’s mark “CAP” in an oval.
