Silver Triangular Masonic Watch

A Swiss lever Masonic watch with mother of pearl dial in a triangular silver case. Circular keyless nickelled split three quarter plate movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator. Uncut balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Triangular mother of pearl dial with polychrome Masonic symbols in place of the numerals and “Love your fellow man – Lend him a helping hand” below the centre. Blue steel hands. Silver case with decoration of a chain around the bezel, a circular ruby red stone below the pendant. The back, which is hinged to form an easel stand, is chased and engraved with a temple and many other Masonic symbols. The edge of the case also decorated with further masonic symbols.

A rare 20^th Century Swiss minute repeating clock in a silver gilt and enamel art deco hump back case. Nickelled rectangular eight day keywind movement with going barrel. Nickelled platform, club foot lever escapement. Plain cock with polished steel angled regulator, index on the back of the movement. Compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Push button minute repeating on two polished steel gongs, polished steel hammers visible above the plate. Arched bone dial painted with a rural scene, a Chinese lightweight sedan chair in the foreground. Arabic numerals, diamond set gilt hands. Rare geometric Art Deco silver gilt case decorated in blue, green and black enamel. Hump back top with agate push button for the minute repeat. Hinged signed silver back, gilt interior. Green malachite base. Original tooled tan leather travelling case, two hinged doors. Lined in cream silk the arched recess with a compartment for the key behind a folding partition.
