A mid 19^th Century Swiss centre seconds Chinese duplex in a silver open face case. Keywind gilt bar movement with richly engraved plate, bridges and suspended going barrel, polished steel regulator, blue steel stop work and screws. Polished steel three arm balance with three blue steel affixes, spiral hairspring. Steel crab tooth duplex escape wheel allowing the hand to beat seconds. Fully restored white enamel dial with Roman numerals, centre seconds, gilt seconds hand, blue steel hands. Engine turned silver open face case, sprung glazed cuvette, silver oval pendant and bow.

Silver dial with decorative engine turned centre, Roman numerals, gilt hands. Small 18 carat open face case covered in champleve polychrome in a foliate pattern, wound and set through the gold cuvette. Brown morocco covered case with watch key.

A mid 19^th Century Swiss keyless quarter repeating lever by Patek Philippe in a gold full hunter case. Keyless gilt bar movement with going barrel, wolfs teeth winding wheels. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Slide quarter repeating on two polished steel gongs. White enamel dial, subsidiary seconds offset at 10 o'clock, Roman numerals, blue steel Breguet hands. Plain 18 carat full hunter case with ribbed middle, early type gold winding button. Signed gold cuvette detailing features of the movement, maker's mark “PM” in a rectangle. Accompanied by a certificate showing the watch was manufactured in 1853 and sold on February 9th 1854.

A good early example of a watch with Jean Adrien Philippe's winding work which was patented in 1845. It was only two years before the manufacture of this watch that the company used the name “Patek Philippe et Cie”.

Plain cock with polished steel regulator, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, blue steel Breguet hands. Miniature engine turned 18 carat open face case with ribbed middle. Wound and set through the signed and numbered gold cuvette which is also engraved for the German retailer. In a small cartouche shaped red morocco case from Goldsmiths and Silversmiths company. Accompanied by certificate from Patek Philippe.

This 7 ligne movement was one of the smallest made for a pocket watch. Examples of one by Patek Philippe are rare and not offered for sale often. In excellent overall condition

A novel use for a small keyless fusee chronometer movement. Perhaps not the most suitable of escapements for a wristwatch it would serve for occasional evening use as an interesting alternative to modern mass produced timepieces. The case is unmarked but tests as silver

English table roller lever escapement, screwed in jewelling. White enamel dial with polychrome enamel scene depicting a windmill with three figures walking around the gallery. The sails of the windmill are mounted on the seconds pivot and rotates as the watch runs. Matching silver pair cases, silver pendant and bow. The back of the inner case engraved “Patent Lever – Jewell’d in 15 Actions”. The outer with initialled cartouche in engraved garter and belt centre. Maker’s mark “IT” and number corresponding to that on the movement.
