A fine late 18th Century French centre seconds cylinder in a gold and enamel open face case. Unusual slim full plate gilt movement, the spring for the resting barrel under an engraved bridge. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel regulator under a polished steel bridge. Polished steel cylinder. Wound through the convex white enamel centre seconds dial, Arabic numerals, fine gold beetle and poker hands, serpentine centre seconds hand. Gold and enamel case, the bezels engraved at the edge and with two bands of pale blue and white enamel. Fine polychrome enamel scene of a classically dressed young woman in a formal garden, an architect working at her feet. Pale translucent pink enamel over an engine turned ground. Rectangular gold and enamel pendant and octagonal gold bow.

Convex white enamel dial, central date calendar with red Arabic numerals, large blue steel hand. Black Arabic numerals, fine gold Breguet hands. Gold and enamel consular case, gilt decorated translucent dark blue enamel bezels. Gold and enamel back with gilt decorated white border. Fine oval polychrome enamel scene of a lady with a boy and dog in a formal garden on translucent blue enamel over a ground of engine turning radiating from the centre. Gold bow and numbered pendant marked “PIG”. Gilt metal hinged frame glazed on the back to protect the enamel.

A late 18th Century English verge in a fine diamond and pearl set gold and enamel consular case with matching chatelaine and fitted case. Full plate fire gilt movement, pierced and engraved cock with garnet endstone, silver regulator disc. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Winding through the gold engraved and engine turned dial with Roman numerals, gilt hands. Fine gold consular case decorated with translucent dark blue enamel over an engine turned ground . The bezels set with a row of large split pearls. In the centre of the back a large single diamond surrounded by geometric spray of small diamonds in a white metal setting. Matching gold chatelaine, the rectangular pin set with two quatrafoils of pearls and bordered with further split pearls. Hinged gold pin and unusual small watch type bow and pendant above. Three string of pearls hang from the pin, each with diamond set gold and enamel links. Two support the watch, the other a jump ring with a key , a matching seal and flask. The agate oval seal with an intaglio bust, gold and enamel gallery above. Unusual pearl set gold and enamel gourd shaped flask with hinged lid. All set in a fitted case of gilt tooled morocco, lined in beige velvet.

A late 18th Century English verge in a fine diamond and pearl set gold and enamel consular case with matching chatelaine. Full plate fire gilt movement with pierced and engraved cock, silver regulator disc. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Winding through the gold engine turned dial with Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Fine gold consular case decorated with translucent dark purple enamel over an engine turned ground . The bezels set with a row of split pearls and in the centre of the back a very large single split pearl surrounded by small diamonds in a white metal setting. Matching gold macaroni chatelaine with one circular and one oval section decorated in a similar fashion to the watch. These are joined by three strings of pearls with the oval section supporting a matching key ans two pearl set gold and enamel tassels.

Pierced and engraved cock with large diamond endstone, silver regulator disc. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Winding through the fully restored white enamel dial, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Gold consular case the white enamel bezels with gilt star decoration. Gold back covered in dark translucent blue enamel decorated with a repeating pattern of green and gilt enamel. Gold pendant and bow, the sprung bezel opened by pushing a button in the top. Matching gold and enamel chatelaine, gold clip, its rectangular canted corner gold and enamel plate supporting five gold chains. The middle three for two small matching gold and enamel plates terminating in a gold clip for the watch secured by a threaded collar. On the outer chains a matching gold and enamel key and scent bottle. In original fitted green morocco case lined in beige velvet.

Signed white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, gold beetle and poker hands. Fine 22 carat gold pair cases. Inner case with foliate pierced and engraved decoration around the edge, engraved depiction of a bird on the back and a grotesque mask at the base. Gold push pendant and bow. Unusual Adam style outer case simply pierced around the edge of the back, the centre finely chased and engraved with an oval cartouche.

Large Regulator Dial Alarm Coachwatch
A fine large late 18th Century English verge alarm with regulator dial in an engraved gilt metal consular case. Large full plate fire gilt movement with five pillars, fusee and chain, resting barrel for the alarm. Pierced and engraved masked cock, silver regulator disc. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Blue steel stopwork to the alarm which strikes on a large bell with two polished steel hammers. Lateral steel stop lever acting on a disc mounted on the seconds arbor. Signed white enamel regulator dial, large central hand for the minutes with Arabic numerals and the hours at twelve with Roman numerals. The subsidiary for seconds at four and alarm set hand at eight, fine gilt arrow hands. Large gilt metal consular case, the front bezel decoratively chased and engraved. The back with a pierced chased and engraved border to allow the bell to sound clearly. Shutters to the winding apertures operated by a slide close to the pendant.

A late 18th Century English cylinder in a diamond set gold and enamel case with matching chatelaine. Full plate fire gilt fusee movement with gilt dust ring. Pierced and engraved masked cock, large diamond endstone. Engraved plate for the silver regulator disc. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, large brass escape wheel. Winding through the white enamel dial, Arabic numerals, fine decorative diamond set white metal hands. Fine gold consular case, translucent dark blue enamel over an engine turned ground with a white enamel border. The bezel and back both set with a single row of diamonds. Applied white metal monogram on the back, also set with diamonds. Fine matching chatelaine, the gilt clip faced with diamond set gold and champleve enamel. One side supports the watch on a short diamond set three strand chain, spring clip with threaded safety collar. The other a long three strand chain terminating in a diamond set gold and enamel rectangle with two gold and enamel tassels, a key and seal bearing the same initials as the watch. Fitted in an unusual shaped red morocco covered case.

An unusual decorated oval gold watch with rare flat wheel cylinder escapement. Slim full plate gilt oval keywind movement with a broad engraved border. Engraved cover to the resting barrel mainspring. Pierced and engraved cock with polished steel coqueret, silver index on the plate. Plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Very rare flat wheel cylinder escapement with polished steel cylinder and brass escape wheel. Small circular white enamel dial with and Arabic numerals, pierced gilt hands. Gold oval mask, two colour gold decoration above and to the sides of the dial. Below a circular cartouche of three colour gold decoration. Gold oval case, both lids painted in Vernis Martin lacquer work on the outside faces with cherubs. The inside of the covers similarly decorated with portraits of well dressed ladies.
