An early 19^th Century English cylinder by Recordon in a gold engine turned open face case. Full plate fire gilt fusee movement unusually secured in the case by three blue steel dog screws. Engraved masked cock, diamond endstone, engraved foot and plate for the silver regulator disc. Plain three arm flat brass balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, large brass escape wheel, pivots with endstones. Gold dial with engine turned centre, gold Arabic numerals on a matted ground, blue steel hands. Engine turned 18 carat open face case with ribbed middle. Wound through the signed gilt cuvette, maker’s mark “IM” and number corresponding to that on the movement.

Fine gold dial, matted ground with applied three colour gold decoration. Central geometric repousse decoration and applied gold Arabic numerals, fine serpentine gold hands. Engine turned 18 carat open face case with ribbed middle. Wound through the gold cuvette, maker’s mark “LC”. Silver ratchet key on a short chain.

Plain cock with diamond endstone in a blue steel setting. Heavy compensation balance, the blue steel and brass laminated rims fixed by screws to the slender brass arms. Helical blue steel hairspring. Earnshaw spring detent chronometer escapement, the detent dovetailed into a gilt foot. Screwed in jewelling, escape pivots with endstones. Signed and numbered white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, gold hands. Substantial faded engine turned 18 carat consular case, gold pendant and bow. Dust proof recesses for the bezel and back, small hole by the movement latch to secure it against tampering. Maker’s mark “TH” in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.

Crab tooth duplex escapement, the steel escape wheel with two locking teeth so that the watch will appear to beat seconds. White enamel dial with subsidiaries for two time zones, both with Roman numerals, Seconds beating both for centre seconds and subsidiary seconds, blue steel seconds hand and gilt Breguet hands.
