The new watch from Apple may well be a smartwatch in essence but they don’t want you to think it’s one. Since the Apple Watch was unveiled in September last year, the company has been saying that its primary purpose is to tell the time, and not, like previous smartwatches to hit the market, cram a host of features from your smartphone into a smaller device worn on ones wrist.

The townspeople of Bury St Edmunds, among others from outside the region, will be keen to learn that the Gershom-Parkington collection – one of the finest compilations of antique watches & clocks in the country– worth £8m to £10m – will return to permanent public display.
Antiquorum’s auction of “Important Modern and Vintage Timepieces” brought a total of HK$30.8 million, or £2.57 million, at the beginning of February in Hong Kong, headlined by several Patek Philippe specimens, the auctioneer has revealed.
