Description
A late 18th Century continental open faced enamel watch with pearl set bezels. Later keywind cylinder bar movement fitted to the original plate and dial aligning the winding aperture. Signed white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, fine pierced gold moon hands. Gold and enamel open face case, the sprung front bezel open by a button in the gold and enamel pendant. Fully restored polychrome enamel back depicting a classically dressed couple beside an urn in a formal garden. The scene bordered by a row of large split pearls. The enamelled front bezel set with a row of slightly smaller split pearls.
