An early 20th Century English lever by Frodsham in a plain full hunter case. Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with raised section for the going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement, screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones. Signed and numbered white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Slim plain 18 carat gold full hunter case, plain gold cuvette, maker's mark “HMF” in an oval and number corresponding to that on the movement.
