Harrison’s maintaining power. Plain cock with diamond endstone, compensation balance employing quarter timing nuts, freesprung blue steel double overcoil hairspring. English double roller lever escapement, screwed in jewelling including the fusee, escape and lever pivots with endstones under a bridge cock. Numbered white enamel dial with subsidiaries for power reserve and seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Substantial plain 18 carat half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring, the back engraved with an interesting motto. Gold cuvette engraved with the name of the original owner. Gold bow and gilt winding button, maker’s mark “FT” in an oval. The winding disabled when the front cover is closed.
