Description
A late 19th Century Swiss buttonhole lapel watch in a gilt metal case. Keywind gilt bar movement with suspended going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, uncut bimetallic balance with spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Very small dial with Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Gilt metal case with clip on back, the movement housed in the larger section worn behind the lapel. The narrow neck of the case houses the cannon pinion and supports the dial.
