Plain cock with diamond endstone, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. English table roller lever escapement, screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones. White enamel dial with subsidiaries for power reserve and seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gold hands. Plain 18 carat open face case, interesting gold cuvette engraved with initials detailing how the watch has been passed down from 1878 to 1955. Maker's mark “PW” in an oval.
