A late 19^th Century quarter repeating Swiss lever with a concealed erotic scene in a silver full hunter case.  Nickelled three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel, five armed star above the plate to actuate the automaton.  Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement.  Slide quarter repeating on two gongs.  Engraved silver dial with applied gilt decoration to the centre, subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands.  Profusely engraved silver full hunter case, the front cover with a vacant shield shaped cartouche below the depiction of a lion, silver slide in the band.  False cuvette opening to reveal the polychrome enamel erotic scene of a three figures above a silver ground decorated with a blue enamel lattice.   The polychrome enamel figures engaged in an amorous encounter spring to life when the repeat mechanism is activated.
