Description
An unusual mid 20th Century Swiss silver and enamel purse watch. Nickelled split three quarter plate round keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, uncut bimetallic balance with spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Square metal dial with subsidiary seconds, luminous Arabic numerals and hands. Unusual square silver case both sides decorated with translucent purple enamel over an engine turned ground. Silver bow and rectangular opening button, gilt interior. Opened the covers of the watch form an easel stand.
