Description

A mid 20^th Century American 56 hour lever deck watch with power reserve indication in a mahogany deck box.  Damascened nickelled split three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel.  Plain cock with polished steel micrometer regulator, uncut balance employing quarter timing nuts, overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed silvered dial with subsidiaries for power reserve and seconds, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands.   Keystone base metal open face case, clip on cuvette, screw bezel and back marked with the broad ministry arrow “H.S.^2  -10705”.  Two piece mahogany deck box lined with green baize, glazed circular aperture to reveal the dial.  Plate detailing instructions on how to use the watch and set the hands.
