Description
A late 18th Century English doctors dial verge in gilt metal pair cases. Full plate fire gilt movement with round pillars. Pierced and engraved masked cock, engraved plate for the silver regulator disc. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Lateral blue steel stop lever. Flat white enamel dial, the subsidiary seconds of Arabic numerals and offset chapter for time above with Roman numerals, gilt arrow hands. Plain gilt metal pair cases, maker's mark “MTW” in a rectangle.
