Description
An early 19th Century English verge with Masonic dial in silver pair cases. Full plate fusee movement with round pillars. Pierced and engraved round cock, unusual gilt regulator on top plate adjusted by a square in the engraved plate. Plain three arm steel balance. Convex white enamel dial, the central polychrome enamel scene with checkerboard floor, all seeing eye, beehive and ark. The sun, moon and some of the tools picked out in gilt, gold arrow hands. Matching silver pair cases, silver pendant and bow, maker's mark “TC” in a rectangle.
