Description
A late 19th Century Swiss split seconds minute recording chronograph in a gilt open face case. Spotted gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Silvered dial with split centre seconds chronograph, subsidiaries for continuous seconds and 30 minute record. Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Plain gilt metal open face case engraved with the initials “JM” on the back. Round button in the band to operate the split seconds.
