A fine early 20th Century English minute recording chronograph in a gold full hunter case. Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel under a raised section in the plate. Flyback centre seconds chronograph work under the dial. Plain cock with polished steel micrometer regulator, diamond endstone. Compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Screwed in jewelling, English table roller lever escapement escape and lever pivots with endstones. Signed white enamel dial with centre seconds flyback chronograph, subsidiaries for 60 minute record and continuous seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Substantial plain 18 carat full hunter case, gold button in the band for the chronograph which is locked when the front cover is closed. Maker's mark “FT” in an oval.
