Description

A ladies mid 19^th Century Swiss cylinder in a gold and champleve enamel open face case.  Keywind gilt bar movement with suspended going barrel.  Plain cock with polished steel regulator, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. Gold dial with decoratively engraved centre, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Small 18 carat open face case covered with fully restored champleve enamel.  The black enamel ground decorated with well painted foliage and forget-me-not flowers.  Wound and set through the gold cuvette.
